Elliptic is a cyber security FinTech company that has pioneered the use of blockchain analytics for financial crime compliance. Elliptic traces cryptocurrency transactions to identify sources of illicit activity, empowering financial institutions to maintain compliance and law enforcement agencies to solve crimes.
Challenge
When the first wave of Covid-19 lockdown happened, the B2B marketing world shifted. Everybody started to heavily invest in ads, so the Cost-Per-Click (CPC) drastically increased. Almost everybody in the industry, including them, also doubledowned on cold outreach. However, these desperate attempts to grab the attention of strategic accounts did not yield the targeted results. Elliptic was looking for an alternative, out-of-the-box solution to solve this problem.
Solution
During the Growth Sprint, we decided to go with a demand generation strategy and launched small-scaled experiments on LinkedIn. There are 3 main goals for this campaign:
- To connect, establish relationship and warm-up strategic accounts on LinkedIn
- To showcase Elliptic niche expertise in blockchain analytics and cyber security
- To develop a recognizable brand
- To create demand for their service
